The Arteon’s base price is $2635 higher. Travel Assist, Emergency Assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, Lane Assist, Dynamic Road Sign Display, adaptive headlights, cornering fog lights, an illuminated grille bar, power trunk with Easy Open/Close, and a heated steering wheel are now standard on all models. Nineteen-inch wheels are eliminated, making 20-inch wheels standard on all SEL models. Supply constraints will eliminate ventilated massaging front seats and heated rear seats from some Arteon SEL Premium models. In order to try to gain access to the new federal tax incentives, manufacturing has been moved to Tennessee.

A new entry-level model priced at $38790 uses a smaller battery. With a shorter 209-mile range, the ID.4 Standard is placed below the ID.4 Pro, which is now priced almost $2000 higher than last year. There’s a new top model: ID.4 Pro S Plus. Pro S Plus models have Area View (an overhead view camera for parking), three-zone air conditioning with separate temperature control for the rear, and heated rear outboard seats. Park Assist Plus is new and standard on all models; it automatically steers the car into a parallel or perpendicular parking spot, with the driver controlling the brakes, accelerator, and gear selector. A standard 12-inch infotainment screen is also new. Assisted Lane Change assist is also added to the standard Travel Assist package.
