Appearance
Headlights, grille, bumpers, fascias, and wheels are all redesigned. A new signature lighting feature
runs the length of the lower part of the grille.
Trim
XLT trim level is renamed Active, and Timberline is now Tremor. The Limited is discontinued.
Convenience
Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering is standard.
Comfort
A power front passenger seat is now standard.
Cargo
The rear liftgate with separate opening glass window is replaced by a two-piece liftgate and tailgate.
Safety
Post-Impact Braking, a new feature that automatically applies the brakes after a collision, are standard.
The 360-Degree camera system to aid parking is now standard on all trims, even the XL, Fleet-Only model. The rear camera includes a washer.
In addition to rear, front parking sensors are also now standard on all models. Pro Trailer Backup Assist is also standard. Reverse Brake Assist is now also standard, automatically braking the Expedition if it’s about to back into someone or something.
